Located at 1365 Chamberlin Street in Zanesville, OH, this campus is not just a physical location but a cornerstone of our community. As our first campus, it has served as a foundation from which all of our subsequent campuses have emerged, fostering growth and connection.

Sunday:
First Word- 1oAM

A focused teaching hour for all ages.
First Word is a time set aside for deeper, more intentional learning. Adults gather for biblical teaching, while kids head to age-appropriate classes created just for them.

During Family Worship, everyone—kids and adults—comes together in the main service. We spend time in worship through music, followed by a message from God’s Word. This is a shared experience where families can grow and encounter God together.

Wednesday
Midweek-7PM

Midweek is centered around a service with worship and teaching. Adults gather in the main service, while kids enjoy engaging, age-appropriate classes, and there is a youth service for ages 12–18.

LEAD PASTOR:
AARON & CYTHNIA BOUNDS

Pastor Aaron Bounds and First Lady Cynthia Bounds were born and raised in the beautiful hills of West Virginia. Pastor Bounds graduated from West Virginia University Institute of Technology with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. He evangelized for 7 years before moving to Zanesville in 2004 to become Youth Pastor.

Sister Bounds holds a Bachelors in Dental Hygiene from West Virginia University. They evangelized for 7 years before moving to Zanesville in 2004 to become Youth Pastor.

God elevated them to the role of Senior Pastor in 2007. The church continues to thrive, not only in Zanesville, but under the Bounds’ leadership The Anchor Church has seven daughter work campuses around Southeastern Ohio and works in Central America and Southeast Asia.

Along with their four children: Laken, Sawyer, Jillian and Finn, the Bounds family reside on a small farm in rural Muskingum County.
